Antique folio sea chart of the Thames Estuary in two panels from the Pool of London including the coast to the South Foreland and Yarmouth, and coast profiles of Lowestoft, Southwold & Dunwich. Coats of Arms and dedication to the astronomer & mathematician James Hodgson on the right hand side. The panel at the top, of the Thames from London to Sheppey and Canvey Islands, is orientated to the south, while the lower panel of the coast from Folkestone to Great Yarmouth is orientated towads the west . William Mount and Thomas Page. Published 1758. Antique 18th century copperplate sea chart with some old colour. Size 50 x 69 cm | 19.5 x 27.0 inches. Condition: Good; suitable for framing. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. This is a folding map. There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is plain.
