Featured in this lot is this collection of side, corner, and basal notched triangular points found in Lake Co., Oregon. There are a total of five points in this collection. The first is the smallest yet the most defined with a very small triangular basal notched profile with thick basal shoulders and a expanding stem with a very symmetrical triangular design that shows a semi serrated edge. The next point is the largest of the points considered a Snake River Point that shows a serrated edge with a cluster body and two pronounced sharp shoulders that shows an expanding stem with a concave base and corner notches. The next point is also a Snake River point that shows a cluster body with corner notches and shape shoulders with a serrated edge that shows a bifurcated stem with a center cut out to the stem. The next point is a small Sauvies Island Hafting Notch point that shows a triangular body with a semi serrated with side notches and a protruding stem with shape formed shoulders. The last point is a small Piqunin point that shows a triangular shape that shows a serrated edge with a set of shape shoulders with side notches and a second layer of shoulders that slopes down with sharp points and shows a concave stem. The condition of this collection of projectile points is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of these projectile points range from 3/4" x 3/4" to 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". The collective weight of this collection of projectile points is 28.8g.
