This Austro-Hungarian choker necklace was crafted in the 1900s. Fabulous carving on carnelian and rock crystal and perfect proportions! Three cameo medallions are framed in openwork silver decorated with enamel and encrusted with turquoise and rubies. The medallions are connected with five strands of faceted garnet beads. Beautiful clasp has a mother-of-pearl oval in the center; the back of the clasp is tastefully engraved. The medallions measure 1-1/8” by 1-1/8”. The clasp is 1-1/8” by 5/8”.The necklace is almost 13 ¼” long. The piece weighs 66.3 grams.In great condition; wear consistent with age and use (please see pictures for details). We guarantee the authenticity of our pieces, as well as the stated condition and functionality of all items.
