Mark Hicks - Lithograph "untitled" Signed lower right. Edition: Printers Proof (noted lower margin) inscribed to to L R Kistler Lithographer: KISTLER. Kistler blindstamp lower left. Dimension: 20 x 26" Very Rare Lithograph, especially being a printers proof of Kistler as they were the top lithographer in the country. He was an abstract painter and a quadriplegic since falling out of a tree at 12. Hicks was also the subject of a 1977 Academy Award winning documentar that Gravity is My Enemy, produced by his art teacher at UCLA, Jan Study and directed by John C. Joseph. His first gallery exhibit was in San Francisco. His work is well regarded and collected.
