This polar bear of Alaskan folk art is carved from black stone with lighter veins. Its facial features are
carved in detail. It is in very good condition with a chip on the tip of one ear. The size is 4 3/4" long by
2 1/2" high by about 2" wide. It is unsigned, and has a partly worn catalog number painted on the
bottom.
