This eye catching cotton 1890's log cabin quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual boxy variation that gives the quilt an op art look.
It measures 64" X 72" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional light age spot and no wear.
There is hand quilting around the piecework throughout at 5-6 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding are the same black and white (reads gray) late 19th century print, and the batting -- if any -- is very thin.
The WONDERFUL COLORS, GRAPHIC DESIGN, and GREAT CONDITION make this late 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out -- it would make a terrific wall hanging!
