This MAGNIFICENT cotton and synthetic medallion quilt is all hand appliqued, with hand embroidered accents / blanket stitching. The quilt features stars, moons, fish, butterflies, turtles, horseshoe crabs, and other folky elements. The quilt is signed "J.L.K." and dated "76." It was made by an artist in Arkansas.
It measures 58" X 76" and is in excellent condition, with no spots, wear, holes, or fade.
The back and machine binding are the same solid maroon fabric, and the batting is thin.
The DYNAMIC COMPOSITION and GREAT CONDITION make this 50-year-old COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out -- a wonderful piece of folk art that would make a terrific wall hanging!
