Kokoschka (Oskar) Autograph letter signed ("Oskar Kokoschka")

The letter, to Andrew Révai at the Pallas Gallery, says "It is a pity that doing my show at London I was so overwhelmed that I always postponed meeting you till it was too late. First of all, I wanted to thank you for the two excellent copies of the Guardi [...] It is also regrettable that we didn't use the chance of my exhibition at the Marlborough Gallery to agree on some other reproductions in your edition. Now, as you know, such reproductions of my works are much in demand as it is discovered (after 50 years) and appreciated by the English art world. Whenever you have an idea [...] I shall be only too pleased to have it done by you", two pages, creasing, two punch holes to the left side, water staining to upper corner causing some smudging to the verso, 8vo, Villeneuve , 14 January 1961.
