Garibaldi (Giuseppe) Letter signed ("G. Garibaldi")
Letter written in secretarial hand but signed by the Italian general at close, to an unidentified female recipient, saying he has been in Genoa since the day before and he is currently in bed due to his wounded foot. He also apologises for declining her invitation, which he would have otherwise been glad to accept as "I get on really well with Englishmen as they are free individuals", one page, mild folding marks, some scattered foxing, 8vo, Genoa, 3 April 1861.
