The letter, to Andrew Révai at the Pallas Gallery, says in part "I think perhaps my best plan will be to forward it to the Tate. The two reproductions they've made are of a very different character from your Pallas ones and I feel that your two excellent repros should sell well -judging by results of my sales of works which have increased greatly lately. There is also a large Thames & Hudson book appearing soon [...] all this coincides with what (judging by sales) appears to be a renewed interest in my work and should mean good sale for those Pallas reproductions", then discussing the need to trim off the white surrounds as "the two facsimile repros are twice, thrice as effective once their white surround is trimmed off and at least two dealers in my works while seeing one of these framed and no white showing thought they were original works", two pages, creasing, two punch holes (one with tear) to the left margin, tall 4to, 14 February, n.y.
