Dickens (Charles) Autograph letter signed ("Charles Dickens")
Dimensions:13.7 x 17.3"/ 35 x 44cm incl. frame
The letter, in characteristic blue ink on pale blue stationery, is addressed to Edward F. Jones, and reads "Allow me to thank you to acknowledge the receipt of your obliging note and to thank you for it. I am happy to be preserved in the remembrance of my friends, the travellers", one page, folding marks, light discolouration, 8vo, Tavistock House, 3 March 1860, mounted for display with an engraved portrait of the writer, framed and glazed.
