Act I and II’ (each signed by Woodgate) ‘Second Sight’, ‘Afifah’, ‘The Ever Open Door’ (co-written with George R. Sims), ‘Virginia Lang’ (diagonal tear affecting the first 16 pages), ‘Princess Olga’, ‘Dr Thorndyke’, ‘Heaven Has No Rage’, ‘Husbands and Wives. A Musical Satire’ (with ‘Husbands and Wives. Film version’), ‘Love Scorned’, ‘Transfusion’, many in original wrappers, a few loose, mostly featuring handwritten annotations and amendments in Woodgate’s hand; with a draft for a short story titled ‘Lights Are Bright’ by Gwen Herbert, featuring typed and handwritten parts (in Woodgate’s hand); and a typed script for a French play titled ‘Guignol’; also including: autograph poems as well as autograph and typed lyrics, all signed by Woodgate; newspaper cuttings; photo album featuring newspaper clippings with reviews of Woodgate plays, large albumen prints photographs of Woodgate during his time in Egypt, and images of theatre actors in costumes, v.s. c. 1920s- 1930s (qty)
