CARVED ALLIGATOR CANE

Description

C. 1900. A Southern American carved alligator cane featuring a tau-form handle mounted on an orangewood shaft. A 7" alligator is carved in high relief along the side of the natural shaft. The cane terminates with a white metal and iron ferrule. This example remains in very good overall condition despite the bark peeling occasionally on the shaft. Length: 35". Condition: (Excellent).
