This exquisite Japanese Woodblock Print by Un'ichi Hiratsuka, titled 'é¡ I' (Kagami I / Mirror I), dates back to 1971 and exemplifies the sÅsaku-hanga movement. Hand-signed in pencil as 'U. Hiratsuka,' the print boasts strong, unfaded ink on clean paper, with dimensions measuring 6 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches. The artwork remains in excellent condition, with sharp edges and minimal printing marks on the reverse. Renowned artist Un'ichi Hiratsuka (平塚 é‹ä¸€, 1895-1997) was a pivotal figure in the 20th-century Japanese printmaking scene. He was involved in every step of the woodblock production process, known for his powerful black-and-white compositions. Hiratsuka was recognized for his contributions to the arts with the Order of the Sacred Treasure in 1970 and created this piece during his productive period in the United States. Don't miss the chance to own this significant work from a master artist.

Shipping:

If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.
**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.
Issues:
All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.
Thanks for your patronage and happy bidding!
