This stunning 'Hollyhock' Japanese Woodblock Print (ホリホック) by Rakuzan Tsuchiya is part of the celebrated 'Rakuzan KachÅ Gafu' series from the late 1920s to early 1930s. The print measures 11 1/2 x 17 inches and features intricate details characteristic of Tsuchiya's work, celebrated for its naturalistic beauty. Please note that this print exhibits overall age-related toning with a yellowed appearance, particularly at the edges. The right edge shows roughness and tearing from being removed from a portfolio, and there are minor foxing spots and soiling in the margins. Despite these condition aspects, the artwork retains its exquisite aesthetic appeal and historical significance. Rakuzan Tsuchiya (土屋 楽山, 1896-1976) was known for his kachÅ-ga (bird-and-flower pictures) in the shin-hanga style. His works are highly collectible and sought after for their delicate coloration and detailed imagery. Don't miss the opportunity to acquire this unique piece of Japanese art history.

Shipping:
Pick up and buyer arranged shipping is always welcome. We offer in-house shipping for items that can ship through common carrier. All items will be professionally packed at a reasonable rate. If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.
**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.
Issues:
All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.
Thanks for your patronage and happy bidding!
