Description
Stearns was born in 1935 in Hartford, Connecticut. He graduated at Wesleyan University in Middleton, CT. He won the Art Grant from Wesleyan University for travel and study in Europe. He also won first prize in the American Graphic Artists Show for woodcuts. He is represented in various museums and galleries including The Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art, the Springfield Museum of Fine Art, The Davidson Art Center Print Collection, Constitution Gallery, The Munson Gallery and The Kennedy Galleries.
