The cutest painting we've got! This vintage charmer shows a litter of four young pups, approximately 4 weeks old, each with a lovely black, tan, and white tricolor coat. While two snuggle together to sleep, one puppy tests his legs out as the fourth sits by and watches the world around him. The artist clearly knows his canines, as the small details will show - from the tiny spread toes and needle-sharp puppy claws to the little red smudge on the muzzle of the sitting pup (perhaps his sibling has played too roughly!).
Though clearly terriers, these are young enough to easily represent your favorite breed - Jack Russell, Rat, or even Smooth Fox terriers. Painted on board, approximately 17 inches long and 8 inches tall, framed in a gold painted wood frame to a finished size of 18 1/8 inches wide and 9 1/4 inches tall. Wire to hang.
