1970s Dansk Modernist Silver Zoo Animal Figure Paperweight Silver Plated by Gunnar Cyren - Elephant and calf - pair

Sleek modernist paperweights from designer Gunnar Cyren for Dansk. These are so surprisingly heavy for such a small size, and the stylized animals are so wonderfully formed. They feel superb in hand. Use them as paperweights, or as the beautifully designed small sculptures that they are.

The elephant calf curves snugly into the body of the mother.

The two figurines include:
Elephant - 2" tall, 3" long, 1.5" wide
Elephant calf - 1.5" tall, 1.75" long, 1.25" wide

Both have felt covered bases and marked "DANSK", and the copyright and registered symbols. Adult also marked "SOH".

Both in good condition, with light tarnish and slight wear.
