Antique 14kt Cameo Brooch, 1800's-1910. The brooch has an oval rounded frame with a tapered bezel that is wider top and bottom and lower on the sdies. The brooch is appx. 1.75" tall and 1.25" wide. Weight is appx. 12.81 grams. It has a rope accent at the base of the bezel around the cameo. The cameo is appx. 32mm tall and 26mm wide. The pin extends beyong the frame. It is not marked or signed. It tests as 14kt gold but the pinback is not gold and may not be original. This does test with acid testing as 14kt on the frame and bezel of the brooch. It is not signed by the maker.
