Vintage Courting Scene Brooch, West Germany, 1950's. This has the look of a water color painting - it is a transfer as you can see under magnification. It is signed Watteau on the bottom of the scne. The insert with the image is appx. 34.5mm round and set in a scalloped tapered frame with beaded accents. That is papx. 41.5mm across. Brassy gold tone with locking clasp . Signed W. Germany on the pinback. Cleaner detail in the artwork on this pin than many. Very good vintage condition. (W51323.8 SS11128 J LD 7/4/23).
