Rare Dutch Delft coat of arms wall plate, featuring a deer holding two acanthus leaves above a ribbon with the letters S.P.Q.H, a Latin abbreviation translated "for the Government and the People of Hasselt". Unable to date the plate, but possibly made to commemorate the 1840 Royal Decree granting the coat of arms to Stad Hasselt in Belgium. Plate has holes for hanging.
