This rare Henri Matisse 2005 museum exhibition lithograph print, featuring his oil painting "Seville Still Life" 1910, was published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and printed in the United States in an unnumbered limited edition. The original work is held in collection of The State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.
Henri Matisse (1869 - 1954) was a French born artist known for his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. Commonly regarded, along with Picasso, as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of the 20th Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art. Artworks by Matisse are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
Will be packaged and shipped by UPS professionals. This rare print is mounted in a contemporary black frame under glass with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
