Honored Artist of the USSR (1971). People's Artist of the USSR (1979). Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2001). He was awarded a Diploma of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR and a medal. Participated in exhibitions: republican (1957), all-union (1961).
