Title: Watercolor painting Forest stream Vitaly Duhnevich Description: NoDuhn 35The painting "Forest Stream" is a serene ode to the quiet beauty of nature in its purest form. At the heart of the composition flows a gentle brook, cascading over moss-covered stones in soft, translucent layers. The water sparkles with light, reflecting the warm amber and gold tones of the surrounding foliage. The stream winds through a forest bathed in the glow of autumn, where the trees-bare and elegant-frame the scene with their arching, leafless limbs. The color palette is dominated by earthy ochres, deep browns, and soft greens, infused with the occasional glint of cool blue in the water's movement. The rocks, rounded and worn, provide a natural rhythm that guides the viewer's eye along the flow of the stream, drawing them deeper into the tranquility of the woodland.Through this work, the artist conveys a moment of stillness and reflection-a peaceful escape where time slows, and the viewer is invited to listen to the sound of running water and feel the crisp air of the forest. It is a visual meditation on the harmony between water, stone, and tree, celebrating the quiet strength and gentle persistence of the natural world.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Forest stream"* ARTISTS: Vitaly Duhnevich* SIZE: 45x35 cm/'17.71x13.77 inches' * MEDIUM: watercolor, cardboard* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this productAbout the artist: Professionally trained as an architect, Vitaly Duhnevich is an artist who uses very unusual and colorful techniques to produce his works of art.one of the techniques he has used since 1995 to create his artworks is the so-called "degreased oil" techniques. It is based on an older technique that was formerly used in early printing methods.Dukhnevich's work is done on thin cardboard or thick paper and the end result somewhat resembles a print. The technique is to thin oil paints not with oil, but to use a paint thinner - hence the "degreased oil" term. This method of painting makes it possible to combine several different technical approaches and also to use different types of materials. For example, it is possible to combine watercolors and oil paints, and then to use them in the same piece of art.Use of this method results in particularly unusual works. Each piece results in a unique and original piece of art, with no two pieces alike. The techniques are also interesting in that it helps to preserve the original intensity of colors and prevents them from darkening over time. Depending on what types of paints were used, his paintings may need three to twelve hours of drying time.Mr. Duhnevich live in Kiev, Ukraine.
