Title: Oil painting Floating clouds Oksana Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5635The Oil painting Canvas titled "Floating clouds" captures the timeless poetry of the sky as it shifts and transforms, bringing with it both calm and quiet drama. The first element that draws the eye is the expansive, swirling sky that dominates much of the canvas. Layers of thick, expressive brushstrokes in shades of gray, white, violet, and aquamarine stretch across the upper half, creating the sense of clouds that are not static but alive-moving, colliding, and dissolving into one another. These clouds appear heavy yet luminous, embodying the duality of nature's atmosphere: at once threatening and comforting, transient and eternal. The artist's textured strokes give them a palpable weight, yet their curved, fluid forms suggest softness, as if they could dissipate at any moment into light. Beneath this vast sky lies the contrasting steadiness of the land. The lower portion of the canvas is alive with earthy greens, yellows, and hints of orange and brown, representing fields that shimmer with light. These tones ground the scene, offering stability against the shifting heavens above. The land is painted with equal vigor, using wide, textured strokes that ripple across the field, mirroring the motion of the sky. It feels as though the wind carrying the clouds also sweeps across the grass, connecting the upper and lower halves of the composition in a shared rhythm. On the horizon, the dark silhouettes of trees punctuate the canvas, breaking the flow of open fields with their solid presence. To the right, a larger tree rendered in dense greens, blues, and streaks of crimson rises high, anchoring the viewer's gaze. Its twisted, layered foliage catches the cool tones of the sky, binding earth to heaven in a dynamic dialogue. Further in the distance, smaller trees and a faint suggestion of rooftops emerge from the haze, evoking the comforting touch of rural life nestled in the embrace of nature. The color palette is striking in its ability to convey atmosphere. The blues and turquoises lend freshness and depth, the violets add mystery, and the grays with white highlights suggest moisture and shifting weather patterns. The brushwork emphasizes the natural energy of the scene-thick impasto layers create movement, light, and shadow that seem to shift as the viewer's eye travels across the canvas. It is not a frozen depiction of a landscape, but a living, breathing moment, suspended between calm and storm.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Floating clouds"* ARTISTS: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
