Title: Oil painting Quiet rural forest Oksana Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5661The Oil painting Canvas titled "Quiet rural forest" is a tender and contemplative vision of nature's tranquility, where the harmony of the rural landscape meets the stillness of a forest interior. With a palette rich in greens, blues, purples, and earthy tones, the artist has skillfully layered texture and depth to evoke not only a visual impression but also an emotional atmosphere of peace and intimacy. The composition draws the viewer into a secluded space, one where trees, fields, and a distant village coexist in quiet serenity, inviting a pause from the noise of modern life. The foreground is dominated by tall, slender birch trees whose pale trunks streak upward, painted with thick, expressive strokes of white, gray, and black. Their branches, touched with hints of yellow and green, suggest the early days of spring or summer, when light filters softly through new foliage. The texture of the bark is palpable, rendered with impasto that makes the trees seem almost tangible. The interplay of shadow and light among the trunks adds a rhythmic quality, giving the sense that the forest is alive with its own subtle heartbeat. Beneath the trees, the ground is a vibrant tapestry of greens and blues, layered with dashes of purple and touches of earthy brown. The brushwork here is dynamic and expressive, capturing the uneven textures of grass, moss, and forest floor. Bright highlights of yellow-green catch the sunlight, while deeper tones create shadowed areas that suggest coolness and shelter. The lushness of the ground cover conveys both abundance and calm, enhancing the feeling of being enclosed in a quiet, living sanctuary. In the middle ground, the composition opens up to reveal glimpses of a village beyond the forest. Small white cottages with red roofs peek between the trees, their simplicity and warmth adding a human presence without disrupting the natural harmony. These houses, rendered in soft, warm tones, seem to blend seamlessly with their surroundings, reminding the viewer of the deep connection between rural life and the landscapes that sustain it. The placement of the village beyond the trees also suggests distance and intimacy, as though the forest acts as both guardian and gateway to the quiet life within.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Quiet rural forest"* ARTISTS: Oksana Ivanyuk* SIZE: 15x20 cm/5.90x7.87 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, canvas* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region.
