About the artist: Born on August 26, 1918 in the village of Kulichtsi (now Sumy region). He graduated from the I. Yu. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1951). Specialty teachers - R. Frents, B. Olkhovsky, I. Sorokin. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the industry of easel painting. The main works: "Gaydamaki" (1961); "Buckwheat is blooming" (1963); "Rocking" (1964) "; To the Bogunsky regiment to Schorsa "(1967) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1961, personal - Chernihiv, 1963. He was awarded medals. He died in 2006 (2007?).
