Description:
A mid-20th century devotional musical automaton depicting the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus, flanked by two kneeling angels within Gothic-style arched niches surmounted by a cross. The silvered metal relief bears the inscription?"MARIA UNBEFLECKT EMPFANGENE BITTE F?R UNS BEI DEINEM SOHN"?("Mary Immaculately Conceived, Pray for Us to Your Son") together with an Austrian ecclesiastical medallion emblem. The reverse is finely upholstered in red velvet with gilt trim and fitted with mechanical components. Likely produced in Germany around 1950, this piece combines post-war craftsmanship with traditional Catholic iconography, designed for domestic devotion.
