Description
Designed in 1960 by Piero Palange and Werther Toffoloni for Germa, the "G23" armchair showcases a bold interplay of geometric structure and natural materials. Crafted in Italy, it features a solid dark-stained wooden frame with angular supports, complemented by a seat and oversized semi-circular backrest in hand-stitched vegetable-tanned leather. The leather is secured with a distinctive laced fastening at the back, enhancing its artisanal character. Combining sculptural presence with functional comfort, this mid-century design remains a striking example of Italian craftsmanship and innovation.
