Description
A Victorian period (1837-1901) pendant necklace, finely handcrafted in 11K gold and centered with a carved glass intaglio depicting an elaborate classical Greek multi-figure scene. The intaglio is executed with remarkable detail, presenting a complex narrative composition inspired by ancient Greek mythology and classical antiquity.
The oval glass plaque is intricately engraved with figures in dynamic poses, reflecting the neoclassical fascination with ancient history and heroic storytelling that was widely admired in 19th-century decorative arts. The stone is mounted within a finely worked gold frame that enhances the sculptural quality of the engraved surface.

The pendant is suspended from a hand-braided black and white cord, complementing the classical aesthetic while emphasizing the jewel's dramatic central element.
