Verbeshchuk Stepan Stepanovych was born in April 1959 in the picturesque village of Yasinya, in Transcarpathia, Ukraine.
He began drawing at the age of 4. At school, he drew a lot of friendly caricatures of classmates and teachers.
In 1976, he graduated from high school.
1977-1979 - military service in the Northern Fleet in Murmansk.
1979-1985 - studied at the Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute, majoring in Architecture. At the institute, he studied drawing and painting under the guidance of prominent Ukrainian artists Gorbenko O.A. and Khimich Yu.I.
After graduating from the institute, he worked for some time as the chief district architect in the city of Nosivka, Chernihiv region.
He worked in the art studio of the Chernihiv Art and Design Plant.
For almost three years he was engaged in wood carving and icon painting in the Transfiguration Cathedral and the Nicholas Church.
Since 1987 he began to paint independently.
He collaborated with the galleries "Boyko-Art" (Kyiv), PR-group "MaMMa-art", "Euroimage Ukraine" (Kyiv), Gallery of Painting of Artists of Ukraine (Ternopil).
Member of the union "Kyiv Artists".
He repeatedly participated in exhibitions in the Ukrainian House, the Architect's House, the Museum of Books, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
Awarded diplomas and awards of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
Works are in private collections in Austria, Great Britain, Italy, France, the USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Israel, China, Slovenia, the Philippines and other countries.
Also, 6 works are in the collection of the Donetsk Art Museum.
