Vintage Glass Beaded Elephant & Cat Dangle Necklace and Earrings Set, Pierced. , 28", 1970's-1980's. This appears to be painted copper cut in elephant shapes as well as cat body and head shapes - odd collection. They are painted in a stress aqua, navy, and pink colors. The glass beads are alal a swirled stripe in green; red; and blue. The Earrings are elephants with a glass bead. The elephants are in two sizes with a large one at front. There are four drops with the cat body and two cat heads dangling belowwith stars on two of those cat drops - there are four drops with the cats. There are five elephant drops and each of them drop down from the main necklace with another striped bead cnnecting them and one dangling at the top of the body. The largest elephant at center is appx. 2" wide and 1.5" tall to give some idea of size. There is some wear on the metal - I did clean the hook clasp and it is copper and I believe the entire chain is copper too - it has some oxidation but that can all be cleaned away. It is not signed or marked. I am not sure if this is the only one out there - but I did not find another. This is not signed either. Could be older than the 1970's based on the beads but unsure of exact age. It is in very good condition other than the oxidation. (NY2.1X SS16219 J LD 7/8/25).
