Clarice Cliff (British, 1899-1972), a rare 'Orange Chintz' double-sided bowl,

circa 1930, of shallow rectangular form with sloping sides, decorated with stylised flowers in tones of orange, ochre, black and cream, orange reserves and black borders, printed marks

33cm wide, 16cm deep, 6.5cm high

Condition Report:

Structurally sound. There is some very minor nicks and scratches to the paint. There is craquelure and some pitting throughout to the glaze. Marks and surface dirt, particularly to the inside of the dish. Subject to this, the lot appears in good overall condition and presents well.
