A rare technical lot from the estate of Leica engineer Peter Loseries, comprising two shutter prototype assemblies with metal blades, most likely developed in connection with the Leicaflex system, together with loupe glasses (Lupengläser) engraved “Loseries.”Peter Loseries was a long-time Leica engineer active from the 1960s through the early 1980s, primarily involved in shutter development during the Leitz era. He contributed to advanced metal-blade shutter constructions and to projects associated with Leica’s SLR development.An interesting group of original Leica development material with direct provenance from his estate.
