This is a gorgeous, rare shape Cheese or Butter Dish underplate only by Minton - Made in England.
The piece is properly marked with old red Minton globe on the bottom of the plate and Birks mark.
The plate is explicitly made in England for Birks
The rim is decorated with heavy gold border.
The plate is 8 5/8" in diameter and 1 1/2" deep.
The dish is in very condition with no chips or crazing - please refer to the pictures or ask questions.
It is possible to have some utensils marks and minimal gold loss, consistent with its age and normal use
