A Beautiful Antique Royal Crown Derby Imari Oval Platter in Imari pattern.
It is decorated in the Rich Imari 1240 Pattern.
This is an Oriental, Imari-Inspired pattern, ornately decorated in the distinctive colors of Iron Red, Cobalt Blue and Luxurious Gold. The platter is enhanced with gold rim
The platter is accordingly marked with print and impressed Royal Crown Derby marks. According to the cypher under the mark it is made in 1902.
The platter is 17" by 14"
It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are some utensils marks, there could be some very minimal crazing, if any and some gold or paint wear, consistent with its age.
Exceptional collector's piece. Would have a place in any china collection.
This is a piece of history that everyone will be proud to have.
