This is a gorgeous Bone China Large Serving Platter, from the renowned Royal Albert Old Country Roses collection - Made in England.
The rims of this pattern are surrounded in blooming sprays of colorful English roses with hand-applied bands of 22-karat gold.
The platter is properly marked with Royal Albert back stamp. It bears second edition back stamp .
It is Made in England, not in China or Taiwan as the newer pieces. This classic dinnerware pattern, the Royal Albert Old Country Roses pattern is synonymous with the name Royal Albert. This pattern is decorated with the Old Country Roses signature motif of burgundy, pink and yellow roses, accented with lustrous gold banding.
The platter is 16 1/8" by 12 1/4" at the rim
