This is absolutely magnificent Royal Gouda handled Candy Dish/Nappy or handled bowl in the Areo pattern.
It is decorated with lovely hand painted red, yellow and blue flowers.
The dish is signed on the bottom: "3176- Areo - Royal Zuid Holland - Gouda", the famous house mark, and some impressed numbers and marks.
I think the cipher next to the house mar identify the dish as made in 1918 (or 1945)
This beautiful dish measures approximately 3" high to the end of the handle and 6 3/4" at the rim.
The colorful hand painted floral bowl is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
The dish is in great antique condition with some minor scratches and some crazing.
