Description:Vintage 14kt Blue Topaz Custom-Made Bracelet, 7.5", 1980's. Six links each with a blue topaz bezel-set oval stone set higher than the base. The stones are appx. 4.5mm by 3.5mm and are appx. .25ctw each for a 1.5 total carat weight. The links have the raised stone set in the center of a round appx. 9mm base and on each side of the circle there are three beads and a ring that has a connector ring attaching it to the next link. This has a hook clasp. It came from an estate purchase where it was sold as aquamarine but it is not testing as aquamarine for me. The weight is a hefty 7.20 grams. This bracelet, and another I purchased, were hand made by the same goldsmith and reported to have paid over $2,000 for it which with the current value of money, would be substantially higher. There is some wear on a few of the bezels. The stones are stable and not loose. A jeweler could reinforce it if necessary but for now it is safe to wear and typical wear.
