The collection includes the Gold Edition, Platinum Edition, Philadelphia Mint, and Denver Mint sets, each containing five quarters representing the 2000 state releases: Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Virginia. The obverse of each coin features the portrait of George Washington facing left with inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and QUARTER DOLLAR. The reverse designs vary by state, with Massachusetts depicting the Minuteman statue and state outline, Maryland featuring the State House dome flanked by white oak leaves, South Carolina showing the state outline with palmetto tree, crescent, and star, New Hampshire displaying the Old Man of the Mountain rock formation, and Virginia commemorating the founding of Jamestown with three ships.
