Description: Original Art Deco nude ceramic sculpture featuring a figural study of a young female form with an early streamlined form by F. Trinque The artwork showcases the woman in pristine white porcelain, positioned on the ground with her thighs together and legs tucked beneath her, she presents an elegant silhouette. One arm supports her weight on the surface, while the other gracefully sweeps back her long, flowing hair, which cascades down her back and onto the floor in detailed waves. The smooth contours of her nude form highlight the artistry of the piece, while the intricate texture of her hair adds depth and movement. Trinque was a French sculptor active in the 1920s and 1930s, known for his Art Deco influenced ceramic sculptures done with a high level of craftsmanship. The female form is his guiding theme, it is striking that his women often do not meet the current ideal of beauty, which gives his sculptures a certain strength and individuality. Signed: F.
