A very elegant and highly collectable pair of early 18th century Britannia standard silver tazzas. The tazzas sit on a raised pedestal foot and have a very beautiful upper and lower gadroon border for decoration. Both tazzas have a very stylish contemporary family coat of arms (Shelley impaled with Bysshe, the maritial arms of John Shelley 27th January 1666 – 4th Febuary 1739 and his wife the co heiress Helen Bysshe 16th April 1667 – 10 Febuary 1739) for importance.
