The Stringa desk lamp is a postmodern task light designed by Dutch designer Hans Ansems for Luxo Italiana in the early 1980s. It features a minimalist, geometric silhouette defined by a slender tubular metal arm with adjustable black articulation joints for targeted positioning. The fixture balances on a weighted, half-sphere dome base and terminates in a distinctive cylindrical perforated metal shade that diffuses light while managing heat.
