Kregel Windmill Co. Eli Scale Model Windmill

Description

This scale model represents the Eli windmill, a historical design by the Kregel Windmill Co. of Nebraska City, Nebraska. The structure is built from galvanized metal, featuring a tapered four-post lattice tower reinforced with horizontal supports and diagonal cross-bracing. A small ladder is integrated into one side of the tower. The head assembly includes a multi-blade fan with a red center hub detailed with red concentric circles. The gearbox and tail boom are finished in a textured red paint. The tail vane is printed with black text: KREGEL WINDMILL CO. at the top, ELI in large center lettering, and NEBRASKA CITY, NEB. at the bottom. The model is assembled using modern small-scale nuts and bolts.
