Set of 4 vintage Mid-Century Modern armchairs by Jens Rison, likely produced in the 1950s-1960s. The chair features a mahogany or similar dark wood frame with sleek, tapered legs and gently curved armrests, characteristic of the period's Scandinavian-inspired designs. The original upholstery, in a yellow-gold silk or satin-like fabric, features delicate embroidered floral motifs and button tufting on the backrest. The chair bears a red circular label on the underside, reading "FURNITURE WITH A SIGNATURE DESIGN Jens Rison".

Two chairs are upholstered with original vinyl, two with reupholstered fabric from previous owner.

Condition:
Fair. The wooden frame shows significant wear, including scratches, scuffs, and some finish loss, particularly on the legs and armrests. The original upholstery is heavily damaged, with a large tear and substantial fraying on the seat cushion, exposing the padding beneath. The fabric on both the seat and backrest is stained and discolored. The button tufting on the backrest appears intact, but the fabric surrounding it is worn. Due to the extensive upholstery damage, a full re-upholstery is recommended.
