His speeches cover a wide range of topics and occasions: praise of science and oratory, philosophical and philological matters, advice on studying, biographical information on his own educational path, occasional speeches on rulers, bishops and popes, etc.
The speeches by Carlo Sigoni (Sigone) included in this edition all cover praise of oratory.
