Sidronius Hosschius, latinised form of Syderoen de Ho(o)sch, also known as Sidronius de Hossche and Sidron de Hossche (1596 – 1653) was a Flemish poet and Jesuit priest.
His contemporaries held him in great esteem for his elegant Latin verse and his works were reprinted several times during the 17th and 18th centuries.
--------------------------------
Jacobus Wallius , or, in the vulgar language, Jacques van de Walle , is a Flemish poet of Latin language (1599-1690)
Attracted both by the Muses and by spirituality, he entered in 1617 to the Jesuits , at a time when this order was a breeding ground for Latin literati and poets.
He was thus able to devote himself freely to the construction of a poetic work full of sensitivity.
