This set of four vintage porcelain plates by Nymphenburg showcases the artistry of one of Germany's premier porcelain manufacturers. Each plate features a different hand-painted botanical specimen – pansy (Stiefmutterchen), pasqueflower (Kuchenschelle), cornflower (Kornblume), and snapdragon (Lowenmaulchen) – accompanied by delicate butterflies. The florals are labeled in German on the reverse, evoking the tradition of Bavarian botanical studies and Alpine wildflower painting.
The plates are finished with Nymphenburg's signature basketweave rim and a fine gilt edge – hallmarks of the brand's enduring craftsmanship. Marked on the reverse with the Nymphenburg crest and "Western Germany, they date to the mid 20th century.
