A Trumeau French period mirror is an anchor of a traditional fine home. Entrance Hall, Top or Bottom of a stair, or in a luxury dressing room...the mix of reflection and fine detailing just makes the space more refined.
My husband grew up with a pea green and gilt one at his mother's house, and that mirror is now a centerpiece in our dining room over an always colorful Italian brass tea cart bar. Of all the pretty and fine things in that room, our guests always ask about the mirror. Fascinating!
This one is lively with a pairing of blue/gray and a hearty red, and lots of gilt wood relief detailing you would expect of a good Trumeau design.
The colors sealed the sealed the deal for us with this one...the grey and red are perfect accents with so many other colors and shoal make for the perfect pop of color in an interesting space.
And, at this price point, it is a tremendous amount on impact and quality for a very reasonable investment...
