Vintage machine handmade quilt top ready for the batting and backing to complete. Most of the hours have been put in!

A vibrant red and white patchwork quilt top featuring geometric diamond pattern blocks. The red fabric is a ditsy pattern.

Measures 68 x 93 wide. Additional border can be added to size to bed as desired.

This quilt top along with several others being offered were made by a lovely woman who went by the nickname "˜Doc' living up to age 93. While she dabbled in painting and pottery the bulk of her art was quilting. She flourished in producing wonderfully unique color combinations and patterns. The textiles used in mid-20th century are now vintage offering the opportunity to turn these beauties into a completed quilt for use or display. This is one of 10 that she put in the labor and design but was unable to complete.


Condition: Machine-stitched by hand. This is a quilt top only. Finish to a size for your bed or as display. As a vintage handmade item stitching/quilt blocks may not be perfectly aligned as is natural in items made by hand.
This has been laundered and some seams need repair.
No stains-never used.
